After School Care Program
Assistance for Working Parents
The Saint Paul School After Care Program caters to the needs of busy parents with children attending our school. Our program is scheduled to commence on August 17 and will operate from the conclusion of the regular school day until no later than 5:00 pm.
To participate in the After Care Program, there is a registration fee of $30 per family. This fee is designed to cover the costs associated with materials and snacks used during the program. Please note that the program will not be available on days when school dismisses early.
2023-2024 Fees
$10 per day for one child
$15 per day for two children
$25 per day for three children
$35 per day for four children
Your payments are due in the office on the first school day of the month. Please attach a schedule of when your child(ren) will be attending along with the payment.
We kindly request that you make a brief check-in with one of our staff members before departing with your child(ren). Please be aware that parents who do not pick up their children by 5:00 pm will incur an additional charge of $5 per minute, per child. We greatly appreciate your efforts to pick up your child as soon as your workday concludes, ideally before running errands. To ensure a smooth operation, late pickup fees will be strictly enforced.
Program Policies
For those children who participate in other activities after school, please note that they cannot be brought back to the After Care Program. This policy assists us in maintaining accurate attendance records.
This year, our After Care Program will be hosted in the school gym and on the playground. When picking up your child on Washington Street, please approach the front door. In the initial weeks of the school year, some areas may lack air conditioning, so it's essential to send your child with water to help them stay comfortable until you're able to collect them or they are picked up early from After Care due to the heat.
Homework is optional unless specifically requested by a parent or teacher. Please refrain from sending electronics or personal toys with your child to After Care. We will provide a prepackaged snack for each child.
